Karadeniz stated that according to data from the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), Turkey’s exports increased in August compared to the same period last year, and pointed out that chemistry comes after automotive in the ranking of top exporting sectors. Karadeniz noted that the export of plastics and plastic products in the chemical substances and products group ranks first in chemical exports, expressing pride in this success on behalf of their sector.
Karadeniz, expressing the need for steps to be taken to solve the problems faced by industrialists as one of the sectors contributing most to Turkey’s growth, said, “In our sector’s economic recovery process, especially the problems experienced in access to finance and raw materials must be resolved as soon as possible. The recent contraction in access to finance in industry is causing investments to halt. We demand that the necessary regulations in this regard be implemented.”
