The Bursa Plastic and Packaging Manufacturers Association started its activities in 2006 as the Bursa Branch of PAGDER Plastic Manufacturers Association to bring the potential in the plastic industry in Bursa into an organization. In parallel with its development during this process, it separated from PAGDER as of October 2011 and continues its activities as the Bursa Plastic and Packaging Manufacturers Association, whose short name is BURPAS.

Bursa plastic manufacturers gathered under a new organization roof. While the Bursa Branch of the Plastic Manufacturers Association (PAGDER) ceased its activities, plastic manufacturers will continue their work under the name of Bursa Plastic and Packaging Manufacturers Association (BURPAS) from now on.

Seeing that there was a need to act together as Aegean Region plastic manufacturers, the Aegean Plastic Manufacturers Solidarity Association (EGEPLASDER) was established in 2001 by EBSO Plastic Professional Committee Members. EGEPLASDER, which was established primarily to gather members of the sector under one roof, to exchange information on professional issues, and to generate ideas on economic, cultural and social issues related to the ¹ plastic sector in the Aegean Region and Turkey, currently has 107 members. 25 of these members were elected to the chamber of industry and commerce council and professional committee memberships, and it was possible to represent our sector in these institutions and convey its problems.

As the only association in the region representing plastic manufacturers, it has carried out activities to solve the sector's problems until today, organized important domestic and international fair participations, sectoral magazine studies, various professional training seminars and conferences, and carried out EU and government-supported projects. In 2011, it realized the establishment of PLASFED "Plastic Manufacturers Federation" together with five founding associations. The "Menemen Plastic Specialized Organized Industrial Zone", which was needed in İzmir, was brought to our sector with the leadership of the EBSO Professional Committee and our Association. We believe that our work will reach a higher level in the coming periods with the support of our members.

Kayseri Plastic Operators Association, whose short name is KAYPİDER, was established in 2008 by 45 plastic operators to serve Kayseri plastic operators, to convey their problems to the relevant authorities and to help in the solutions of their technical problems.

There are approximately 200 companies and approximately 4000 employees producing in various fields of the plastic sector in Kayseri. In 2008, the Kayseri Plastic Operators Association was established to strengthen the bonds of unity, togetherness, assistance and solidarity among these companies, and to ensure the integrity of the sector because we believed in the principle of cooperation and unity of power. At present, the references of our 55 members in their purchases are given by our association, and the comfort of customers who are sought from outside is ensured. Our association, which serves in every field and is affected by the negative perception against plastics and the misinformation of the public, uses its right to speak on behalf of all its members and gives the necessary response. KAYPİDER is among the founding members of the Plastic Manufacturers Federation by coming together with associations in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Bursa to make our voice heard better.

The Composite Manufacturers Association continues its efforts with the mission of promoting, publicizing, informing, standardizing and developing composites in the eyes of the government, local administrators, industrialists, scientific institutions and users, with the aim of increasing the use of composites in every aspect of life, to carry out the necessary studies for the production and use of composites to be maintained on scientific grounds, to guide its members towards common goals and to develop, increase the shared opportunities, and to create synergy by bringing industrialists and scientific institutions under one roof. Established on May 18, 2005, the Composite Manufacturers Association contributes to the development of the sector by ensuring interaction among its members by organizing sectoral information meetings, workshops and summits.

Established in 1969 to bring together the manufacturing companies operating in the plastic sector in Turkey under the same roof, PAGDER Plastic Manufacturers Association has successfully maintained its mission for over 40 years. It is the most active non-governmental organization of the Turkish plastic and plastic processing machinery sector with nearly 500 members. It takes the Turkish plastic sector to the fairs held in countries that are potential markets for our sector, except for the countries that are leaders in the plastic and plastic processing machinery sectors, and undertakes sectoral tour organizations to these markets.
