The “Corporate Sustainability and Sectoral Transformation Meetings”, organized to contribute to the sustainable transformation of the plastics industry, took place on February 12th at Istanbul Kültür University Design Factory. The meeting, organized in collaboration with the Plastics Industrialists' Federation (PLASFED), Istanbul Kültür University Sustainability Research Center (İKÜ SÜRKAM), and the Sustainable Education, Development and Excellence Association (SEGM), brought together representatives from academia, the business world, and civil society on the same platform.
During the meeting, the sustainability perspective of the plastics sector was discussed, and the sector's current situation, transformation needs, and future roadmap were evaluated.

Following the opening speeches, a panel titled “The Plastics Sector from a Sustainability Perspective” was held. The moderation of the panel was undertaken by Çağlar Çabuk, Chairman of the Board of the Sustainable Education, Development and Excellence Association (SEGM). Panelists included Sultan Tepe, Member of the Board of Directors of Istanbul Chamber of Industry and Head of the Sustainability Platform, Prof. Dr. Sinan Alçın, Faculty Member at Istanbul Kültür University, and Selçuk Gülsün, Deputy Chairman of the Plastics Industrialists Business People Association.
