Istanbul Toy Fair Brings Together All Components of the Industry

The International Istanbul Toy Fair opened its doors to visitors at the Tuyap Fair and Congress Center. Organized in collaboration with the Tuyap Fair and Congress Group and the Toy Manufacturers Association (TOYDER), the fair gathered all components of the industry.

The International Istanbul Toy Fair, realized in collaboration with the Tuyap Fair and Congress Group and the Toy Manufacturers Association (TOYDER), brought together all stakeholders of the toy industry in Istanbul from February 25 to 28.

The opening ceremony of the fair was attended by Istanbul Deputy Governor Cengiz Karabulut, General Manager of Tuyap Fair Organization Inc. Ilhan Ersözlü, President of the Toy Manufacturers Association Raşit Akar, and many invited guests, including the Chairman of the Plastics Industry Federation (PLASFED) Ömer Karadeniz.

In a speech at the opening of the fair, Istanbul Deputy Governor Cengiz Karabulut stated, “Toys are not only a source of entertainment for children but also one of the most important tools that support their development and enrich their imagination. This fair showcases the contribution of advanced and educational toys to the healthy growth of children.”

The fair, which attracted visitors from over 75 countries and 70 provinces of Turkey, claims to be one of the most important toy fairs not only in our country but also in the region. The four-day event offered industry professionals the opportunity to discover the latest products and develop international collaborations.

At the fair, thousands of different toys ranging from plush toys to electronic toys, from wooden designs to licensed products, and from educational games to board games were presented to the visitors. The fair attracted attention not only for its product variety but also for being a collaboration platform that brings together industry professionals.

International Interest is High

Hosting 3,887 visitors from 57 countries and 65 provinces last year, the Istanbul Toy Fair has raised the bar even higher this year. Visitors from over 75 countries and 70 provinces of Turkey joined the fair, with notable interest from countries such as Germany, Serbia, the UK, Denmark, Italy, Poland, Russia, North Macedonia, Spain, Hungary, Malaysia, Ukraine, and the UAE.

Turkish Toys Going Global

The fair provided an important opportunity for the Turkish toy industry, which has achieved great success in exports in recent years, to strengthen its position in the global market. Especially Turkish manufacturers, who stand out in the wooden, eco-friendly, and educational toy categories, found opportunities to enter new markets and strengthen existing collaborations through the fair.
