As the Kayseri Plastics Industrialists Association (KAYPİDER), our main goal is to serve the sector, make the voices of our members heard more strongly, and contribute to the sustainable development of the plastics industry. Kayseri is one of Turkey’s leading industrial cities with its deep-rooted industrial tradition, production discipline, and entrepreneurial spirit. As the KAYPİDER management, from the very first day we took office, we have adopted an approach based on institutionalization and prioritizing acting together. In this direction, we have come together with public institutions, professional organizations, and stakeholder structures; we have explained our association's work, goals, and our expectations for the sector. These visits were not just for the purpose of meeting; they were also important steps taken toward generating collective wisdom and strengthening the foundations for cooperation. The institutional visits we conducted in Ankara together with our umbrella organization, PLASFED, were one of the most concrete examples of this understanding. The contacts made regarding the defense industry, in particular, were extremely enlightening for us.
